We repair most everyday devices, including phones, tablets, iPads, Laptops & MacBooks, desktop computers, smartwatches and game consoles. If you’re not sure about your model, contact us or bring it in and we’ll let you know if it’s something we can work on.
Phone Studio is located at 2 Glenabbey Dr, Unit 5, Courtice, ON L1E 1B9. We’re in a local plaza with free parking right in front of the shop, so it’s easy to drop off and pick up your device.
You don’t need an appointment—walk-ins are welcome. For less common models or parts, calling ahead or sending a quote request helps us confirm stock and give you a more accurate time estimate.
Many common phone repairs (especially iPhone and Samsung screen or battery replacements) are done in about 20–60 minutes, depending on parts and how busy we are. Tablets, laptops, computers and game consoles often take longer because they need more testing. We’ll always give you a time estimate when you check in the device.
We do both. Phone Studio repairs devices, buys phones you no longer need, and sells tested, pre-owned phones. If a repair isn’t worth the cost, we can often help with trade-in or replacement options instead of pushing a repair.
Yes. In many cases, a charging port clean or replacement will solve the issue. We’ll inspect the port for dust, bent pins and internal damage, and if needed, replace the port or check for deeper board problems.
Yes, and this should be treated as urgent. If the back of your tablet is lifting or the screen is pushing out, turn it off and bring it in as soon as possible. Swollen batteries can be unsafe if ignored.
It depends on the model and what you use it for. Sometimes a single repair (like a new battery or screen) can give an older iPad a couple more useful years. Other times, the money is better put toward a newer device. We’ll give you an honest opinion either way.
Yes, we can help with repairs for multiple devices used in classrooms, offices or field work. If you manage several tablets, contact us and we can discuss options for bulk or repeat repairs.
Liquid damage is always tricky and no outcome can be guaranteed. However, we can often clean and inspect the internals, try to restore functionality or at least attempt to recover data. The sooner you bring it in after contact with liquid, the better the chances.
