No. Battery replacement does not touch your storage, photos, apps, files and accounts all stay exactly where they are. We still recommend a backup before any repair as standard practice.
Yes. A swollen lithium cell is a fire and rupture risk and should not be charged or carried. Bring it in immediately, we do free in-store assessment, safely remove the swollen cell and reseat the screen or chassis.
Yes, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad mini. Tablet batteries are bonded to the chassis so the job is more involved than a phone swap, but we do it same-day on most models when parts are in stock.
