The PlayStation jobs we see most are an HDMI port that lost the picture to the TV and a console that overheats and shuts off mid-game. The HDMI port bends when a cable gets knocked; we desolder the damaged port and fit a new one. For overheating we strip the console right down, deep-clean the heatsink and fan, and re-apply fresh thermal paste or liquid metal, then test it under load before it goes back. We also handle disc drives, the blue light of death, power faults and DualSense stick drift, and on drift we replace the analog stick module so it actually stays fixed. Every console gets a free diagnosis first, so you know what's wrong before you commit.
Most PlayStation repairs are back in two to three days once the part's in, and we text you the moment it's ready. PlayStation repairs are handled at our Courtice store at 2 Glenabbey Dr, Unit 5. PS5 / PS5 Pro / PS4 HDMI port repair
No picture, black screen, or no signal to the TV from a bent or snapped HDMI port. We desolder the damaged port and fit a new one, the single most common PlayStation repair we do.
Disc drive repair
Won't read or eject discs, grinding or clicking, a disc stuck inside, or a failed drive motor on PS5 and PS4. Cleaned, re-geared, or the drive swapped.
Blue / white light of death
PS5 white-light blink or PS4 blue-light pulse then shutdown. We diagnose whether it's the HDMI, the APU, or the power side before you commit to anything.
